This place is wonderful from the minute you walk in the door until you leave. They are not wheelchair friendly but they help us carry our aunt in her wheelchair down the couple of stairs it takes to get in the main dining area. It means the world to her. She can then see the boats coming in and out of the marina. The food is phenomenal. Their crab cakes with oyster sauce is a must have and we always get the fish and chips. For an appetizer try the deep fried green beans. The Desserts are homemade. Last time we tried the Lemon Cake. It was scrumptious.
Visited on 8/26/17, We started dining experience with pretzel bites that were just okay. I ordered the fish and chips. The portion size was large but there was really no flavor to it. My dining partners agreed the food is mediocre at best however the place was packed but not sure why because its not for the food. The service was OK for as busy as it was on a Saturday night. Very loud but friendly atmosphere.
I live nowhere nearby, but we had such a great time here and the food was so spectacular, I imagine we'll drum up some kind of a reason to get back over there!
Great food, service, and lake front view. Live music frequently at night and the owner is a stand up guy. It's refreshing to see a waterfront restaurant that doesn't just rest on its location to draw in business. There is a lot of attention paid to the menu, plating, and quality of the food being sent out.
Food just ok. If you can get a seat out on the back deck the view is very nice. The staff is very pleasant. Lots of places I would go first but not to bad.
